Fiamma, or “little flame” in Italian, is a live fire, Italian-inspired restaurant created by acclaimed chefs Britt Rescigno and Kinsey Leodler, coming soon to Sun Valley, Idaho.

Locality is at the core of Italian cuisine, and like our ancestors from across the Atlantic, we believe that locally sourced ingredients just taste better.  We make it our mission to always source the freshest seasonal ingredients, sourced from as close to home as possible.

Partners

Fiamma is all about fostering a sense of community, within our four walls and beyond. We partner with local farmers, ranchers, and small businesses to support the industries that our community depend on. Some of our wonderful partners include: Mountain Pride, Lava Lake Lamb, American Ostrich Farms, Shoemaker Bison Ranch, Charlies Produce, Riverence, Idaho Springs Caviar, Snake River Farms.

Why did you choose Sun Valley for your restaurant?

Sun Valley is a place we immediately fell in love with, and we knew we wanted to create something of our own here. The Wood River Valley is absolutely stunning, with rivers, mountains, and high deserts, and we’re excited to be in the midst of so much beauty and rich history. It’s an honor to be able to share our food with all who are drawn to this region, and to showcase the area’s incredible assortment of local ingredients and purveyors through each one of our seasonal dishes.  

What inspired the concept of a live fire, Italian-inspired restaurant?

From the beginning, our vision was to create a place that embodies everything we value in a restaurant: exceptional food made with quality ingredients, an inviting environment with friendly service, and an overall memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression. Chef Britt’s Italian heritage and our extensive culinary experiences significantly influence the concept, bringing authenticity and passion to every dish. Every decision we make aligns with our belief that dining is more than just what’s on the plate; it’s a complete sensory experience meant to be shared and savored long after the last bite.  

Who are your ideal customers?

Our goal is for Fiamma to be a welcoming place for both locals and tourists, and we take special care to foster a sense of community so every guest feels like a part of our family. We want everyone who visits, whether dining with us mid-week or celebrating a special occasion, to know they can always expect fresh, seasonal, and exciting food cooked with soul; a thoughtfully curated beverage list; and warm, attentive hospitality offered in an elevated, yet relaxed setting.
