Growing up in Maine, Arlo started working in food service at thirteen years old. What began in the back-of-house quickly transitioned to the front-of-house. As a server, his personal interest in geography led him to learn about wine, which served as a gateway to the beverage industry, and he began bartending shortly after.

Arlo is passionate about exploring classic cocktails, creating new cocktails, and helping guests branch out in their drink selections. He is equally passionate about exploring and presenting new spirits, especially bourbon, tequila, and liqueurs.

He works closely with the Ketchum Liquor Store to bring in selections otherwise unavailable to local and state markets, intending to provide guests with a complete and unique spirit program and expand their palates.

Having lived in Sun Valley briefly as a child, Arlo returned to the area in early 2025, seeking a change of scenery from Acadia National Park, where he calls home. Outside of work, Arlo is an avid hiker, runner, and traveler.
